Is Pet Insurance worth it?

Nobody can predict when or how a pet will get sick, or how much it will cost. Unexpected veterinary costs can add up to thousands of dollars.

Even if owners try to save up money in advance, they could come up short. Pet insurance prevents owners from having to take on lasting debt or forgo veterinary care and be forced to euthanise a beloved pet because their treatable injury/condition, is beyond the owner's resources.

Do all vets recommend pet insurance?

Yes, because it helps ensure their patient will receive the care they need and won’t be euthanized (or abandoned) for economic reasons. Insurance allows us to focus on care during consultations rather than finances.
